History

Pars Kayhan Company, as one of the pioneers of Iran’s private sector, began its operations in 1991 as a contractor in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and power generation and transmission industries. From its very inception, the company established a solid trajectory in executing EPC projects and playing an effective role in major national tenders, backed by strong managerial expertise and a long-term strategic vision.

Leveraging its deep understanding of national capabilities, Pars Kayhan took a deliberate step into the steel industry and, through collaboration with reputable international firms, significantly expanded the scope of its activities. Within less than a decade, these efforts elevated the company to a prominent symbol of Iranian engineering expertise and capability in large-scale power plant, oil, gas, and petrochemical projects.

A pivotal milestone in the company’s track record was its successful installation of equipment for the South Pars Development Project, which led directly to Pars Kayhan’s first power plant EPC project at the Abadan Power Plant. This major achievement paved the way for securing numerous subsequent power plant projects and, in 2006, culminated in the successful execution of the company’s first oil industry EPC project at the Tehran Refinery—accomplished through its seasoned workforce and accumulated technical experience. Additionally, the company’s execution of installation and commissioning works for the utility and offsite facilities of the Kermanshah Petrochemical Complex further solidified Pars Kayhan’s position among the nation’s most capable petrochemical contractors

Today, the company stands at the forefront of Iran’s energy sector contractors, supported by a dynamic and highly skilled workforce of over 500 professionals and grounded in the most up-to-date technical and managerial knowledge. Its distinguished collaborations with leading national entities—including the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Iran Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution Management Company (Tavanir), MAPNA Group, major pipeline and telecommunications companies, and reputable refineries—exemplify Pars Kayhan’s unwavering commitment to strengthening national infrastructure, generating employment, and advancing the country’s economic development.

A core tenet of Pars Kian’s management philosophy is its focus on sustainable development and continuous investment in human capital. This approach has enabled the company to earn the top national ranking in the oil & gas and facilities & equipment sectors from Iran’s Management and Planning Organization, while also achieving full implementation and certification of the international standards ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety).

Since 2008, Pars Kian has expanded its operations beyond Iran’s borders, taking decisive steps into international markets with the strategic aim of extending its economic and social influence across the Middle East—a move that continues to open new horizons for regional and transregional growth and cooperation.

Guided by commitment, expertise, and a relentless drive for value creation, Pars Kian confidently pursues its upward trajectory, inspired by your trust, and remains ever curious and dedicated to shaping a brighter, more sustainable future.
